I have stayed at this location several times before under different Companies, this was by far the best stay yet. Always love the location, but the cleanliness of the building and grounds were SPECTACULAR!! Everything was beautiful. Front desk personnel were friendly and answered all my questions!

I'm a up nights late. I didn't get a chance to sample breakfast. The lake view is very nice. I especially like the idea of a late night Beer.

Third time we have stayed, used to stay in South Hill better value and cleaner rooms with this hotel. Like the view of the lake and the town.

It was Convenient located near all the store and other hotels also couple restaurants. Beautiful Water view. People was so nice and polite.

Love the lake. Loved having NO carpet in my room. Real nice room. Was very comfortable and the people at the destination was very friendly and nice.

I am writing this review on my husbands behalf. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay at The Buggs Island Inn. He had the opportunity to meet the owner/ manager. He stated he was a very nice and professional gentleman. The hotel was undergoing some major renovations, that did not interfere with his stay at all. He was pleasant surprised by having a larger TV in the room and with the snack bags filled with delicious goodies each morning that was set out for guests. He raved about how handy that was while he was fishing his tournament. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience...

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room got double booked and we had someone try to come in our room later in the night however it was taken care of with no issues
